Why This Combination Was Chosen: A Breast Augmentation + Arm Accessory Breast Liposuction Case

One patient came to Renu Plastic Surgery with two related concerns: limited breast volume and fullness around the upper arm and accessory breast area. The patient felt that these areas together affected the overall balance of the upper body and wanted to explore options for improving the proportions.

During the consultation, the patient’s breast shape, existing volume, upper-body contours, and areas of localized fullness were assessed. Rather than considering the breast area separately, the surrounding contours were also taken into account when developing the treatment plan.

Based on the assessment, breast augmentation combined with arm and accessory breast liposuction was discussed as a possible approach. The goal was not simply to increase breast volume, but to consider how the breast and surrounding areas could work together to create a more balanced overall contour.

Following the procedure, the patient attended scheduled follow-up appointments as part of the recovery process. As post-operative swelling gradually decreased, changes in breast volume and the contour of the surrounding areas became more apparent. The patient reported being satisfied with the overall balance and appearance.

This case demonstrates why treatment planning can involve more than addressing a single area. Individual anatomy, existing proportions, and the patient’s goals all play a role when deciding whether combining procedures is appropriate.
