AngioJet thrombectomy works by using high-pressure saline jets to break up and suck out blood clots through a catheter. It’s considered effective because it can quickly remove large or fresh clots without major surgery. My uncle had this done for a leg clot, and the doctors said it restored blood flow almost immediately. Recovery was much faster than we expected.
The AngioJet system basically blasts the clot into tiny pieces using fluid jets and vacuums them out. It’s especially useful for big or acute clots where time is critical.
