My friend recently had Body Liposuction at SoonPlus Plastic Surgery in Seoul and overall her experience was pretty positive
One thing that stood out was how much attention they gave to the consultation before the actual procedure. She spoke with Dr Soon Dong Kim about the areas that were bothering her and what kind of change she was realistically hoping for. She was not expecting liposuction to completely change her body and mainly wanted to improve areas where she felt that stubborn fat was difficult to reduce through diet and exercise
The recovery period was probably the most challenging part for her. The swelling and discomfort during the first couple of weeks made it difficult to judge the actual result. There were days when she felt impatient because she expected to see a noticeable difference much sooner. She eventually realized that the early appearance was not a good indication of the final outcome and that the body needed time to settle and heal
Another thing she appreciated was that the overall process felt organized. Since she was traveling to Seoul for the procedure she also learned that there is more to planning than simply choosing a clinic. Things like accommodation, transportation, follow up appointments and allowing enough time for recovery are all worth thinking about before traveling for surgery
From what I saw during her recovery, the changes became easier to notice as the swelling gradually went down. Her body looked more refined in the areas she had been concerned about, but it did not look like an extreme transformation. She was mainly happy that the areas looked more proportionate and that her clothes started fitting differently
Her experience also made me realize that anyone researching Body Liposuction should look beyond before and after photos. Every person’s body shape, fat distribution and healing process are different, so understanding the surgeon’s approach, discussing realistic expectations and knowing what recovery involves seem just as important as choosing the clinic
