I don’t usually write posts like this, but I spent months reading other people’s experiences before booking my appointment, so I thought I’d return the favor.
I’ve had pigmentation on my cheeks for a few years. It wasn’t extremely dark, but it always bothered me in photos and I ended up wearing foundation almost every time I went out. I tried different serums at home, but the improvement was minimal.
I eventually booked a consultation at Soon Plus Plastic Surgery with Dr. Yong Hwa Choi. During the consultation, he explained what kind of pigmentation I had and also mentioned that it wouldn’t disappear after just one treatment. I actually appreciated that because I was expecting someone to oversell the results.
The treatment itself was quicker than I imagined. My skin was a little red afterward, almost like a mild sunburn, but it settled down pretty fast. The hardest part was honestly being patient. After the first session, I kept checking the mirror every day and couldn’t really tell if anything had changed.
After some time, I started noticing that the darker areas looked lighter and my overall skin tone looked more even. It’s not like my skin suddenly became flawless, but I don’t feel the need to cover those spots as much anymore, which was my main goal.
If you’re thinking about pigmentation treatment, I’d say go in with realistic expectations and don’t skip sunscreen afterward. That’s probably the advice I’d give anyone.
Has anyone else been treated at Soon Plus Plastic Surgery? Did you need multiple sessions, or did you notice results after the first one?
