A female patient visited SoonPlus Plastic Surgery with concerns about her chin shape and overall facial balance. Before treatment, her facial proportions and chin structure were evaluated to develop an individualized plan for Chin Correction / Genioplasty. The goal was to create a more balanced relationship between the chin and the surrounding facial features while maintaining her natural appearance.
At 1 week after surgery, swelling, bruising, tightness, or mild discomfort may still be noticeable as part of the early recovery period. By 1 month, these changes may gradually decrease, allowing the chin contour and facial proportions to become more apparent. At the final result stage, the outcome is evaluated after sufficient healing, when the treated area has had more time to settle.
Recovery and final results can vary from patient to patient depending on the surgical approach, individual anatomy, and healing response. Following post-operative instructions and attending scheduled follow-up appointments are important parts of the recovery process.
