My friend recently had treatment for her bulbous nose at SoonPlus Plastic Surgery in Seoul and overall her experience was pretty positive
One thing that stood out was how much attention they placed on consultation and planning before the actual procedure. She spent time discussing her concerns with Dr Soon Dong Kim and explaining that she wanted her nose to look more refined without making it appear overly narrow or unnatural. They talked about her existing facial proportions and what kind of change would realistically suit her features rather than simply trying to make her nose look smaller
The recovery period was probably the most challenging part for her. The swelling during the early stages made it difficult to judge how her nose was actually changing and there were times when she felt a little impatient because the result was not immediately obvious. She learned that the nose can take time to settle after surgery and that judging the result too early can be misleading

From what I saw during her recovery the shape of her nose gradually looked more refined as the swelling went down. The biggest difference was around the tip where the bulbous appearance seemed softer and more defined. It did not look like she had suddenly changed her entire face and that was important to her because she wanted something that still looked natural and suited her features
Her experience also made me realize that anyone researching treatment for a bulbous nose should look beyond before and after photos. Everyone has different nasal structures and healing can vary quite a bit so understanding the surgeon’s approach communication and realistic expectations seems much more useful than simply choosing a result that looks good in a photograph
