My friend recently had Fit Me Rhinoplasty at SoonPlus Plastic Surgery in Seoul, and overall her experience was pretty positive.
One thing that stood out was how much attention they placed on consultation and planning before the actual procedure. She spent time discussing her concerns and the kind of nose shape she wanted with Dr. Soon Dong Kim. She was mainly looking for a more balanced appearance and did not want a nose that looked obviously altered. The discussion focused on what would realistically suit her facial features rather than simply choosing a nose shape from a reference photo.
The recovery period was probably the most challenging part for her. The swelling and bruising during the first couple of weeks made it difficult for her to judge the result, and there were days when she felt like her nose looked completely different from what she had imagined. She eventually realized that the early appearance was not the final result and that rhinoplasty really does require patience while the swelling gradually settles.
Another thing she appreciated was how organized the overall process felt. Since she was traveling to Seoul for the procedure, she realized that there is more to planning rhinoplasty than the surgery itself. Things like accommodation, follow up appointments, transportation, communication and allowing enough time for recovery are all important things to think about before traveling back home.
From what I saw during her recovery, the shape gradually became softer and more natural as the swelling went down. Her nose looked more refined without making her entire face look different, which was exactly what she had wanted. I think the biggest difference was that her facial proportions looked more balanced while she still looked like herself.
Her experience also made me realize that anyone researching Fit Me Rhinoplasty should look beyond before and after photos. Every person’s nose and facial structure are different, and healing can also vary quite a bit. It seems much more important to understand the surgeon’s approach, communicate your expectations clearly and have a realistic idea of what can actually be achieved.
