A female patient visited SoonPlus Plastic Surgery with concerns about excess abdominal skin and changes in abdominal contour. Before the procedure, her abdominal area, skin laxity, body proportions, and individual goals were assessed to develop a personalized Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) treatment plan. The aim was to improve the abdominal contour while taking her existing body shape into consideration.
At 1 week after surgery, swelling, bruising, tightness, and discomfort can still be noticeable as the body begins to heal. By 1 month, these early changes may gradually settle, and the abdominal contour can become more apparent, although the tissues are still continuing to recover. At the final result stage, the outcome is evaluated after sufficient healing, with the goal of achieving a smoother and more defined abdominal appearance.
Recovery after abdominoplasty varies between individuals and depends on factors such as the extent of surgery and the body’s healing response. Following post-operative instructions and attending scheduled follow-up appointments are important parts of the recovery process
